Been a bit, but i’ve been busy…
November 24, 2008
so i have the first three designs ready for print. i just ordered the shirts today and they should be here by wednesday, then i’ll print them over the weekend.
for the sean bradley shirts, i bought 24 jerzeez 29M, or 50/50 cotton/polyester blend. they are nice shirts that i’ve tested already and they hold up well to repeated wash.
for the monstar shirts; redesigned cityscape and working man on the run, i bought 12 royal apparel 100% combed ringspun cotton fine jerseys. these are more expensive than the jerzeez and have a much softer feel and different fit–I HOPE!!! i based my selection off of other people’s experiences on t-shirtforums.com.
i also have a new ink. i bought some Nazdar 9500 series aquaprint waterbased ink. this is supposed to…hmm, how do i put this… “melt into the fabric.” making it seem like the ink is part of the fabric, not just a layer on top, like plastisol ink does. i’ve only tested it a little bit and it has worked out pretty good so far; so i’m crossing my fingers for a 20+ shirt job.
so check out my thangs. i bought a “pool” colored shirt from royal. the sean bradley shirts will be white. i have white and black ink and will determine which looks best. i will definitely do the cityscape in white.
